Fascist Turkish army and its mercenary FSA couldn't advance in the fields of Efrin so far in the 5th days of the attack. Although Turkish army are using the warplanes and bombing the villages which causes especially tens of civilians to die and injure, they couldn't manage to pass the resistance of YPG fighters.

The invasion attack so-called "Olive Branch Operation" is also witnessing a broad media blockage in Turkey. The palace power called all the mainstream media and gave them directions how to manipulate what is going on in Efrin. Around 100 people are detained or arrested due to social media sharing or joining the demonstrations and many people threatened openly in TV programs if they don't support the attack.

Although police attack brutally to the protests, socialists and activists insist on going out to streets to organize solidarity actions with the people of Efrin and to demand peace.

After the start of attack, MLKP Rojava organization, TKP-ML TIKKO and DKP/BÖG also declared that they are in the defense of Efrin.
