25th anniversary of the Sivas massacre was commemorated with mass memorials held in Turkey and around the world . Thousands of people gathered in Sivas where the massacre took place and made a march to Madımak Hotel. NGOs such as DISK , KESK , TTB , PSAKD, TMMOB participated along with the families of 33 people who lost their lives in the massacre of walking, and along with ESP , SKM, SGD F, HDP , EMEP , CHP and many other socialist organizations.
Tin the speeches, it is emphasized that the state did not face the massacre and the main culprits of the massacre have not been caught, on contrary some of them were noticed after their death in Turkey after having a normal life and these two facts complete the truth about the massacre that the state was behind it. The participatants also reiterated the demand that the Madımak Hotel should be the "Shame Museum".
The mentality that made the Madımak massacre continues as the state tradition, they are also killers of the other 33 in Suruç. Alevite people have been exposed to many massacres in the history of the Republic of Turkey and they continue their quest for justice through their democratic organizations till this day.
