Zeki Şengali is Immortal 

The colonialist fascist Turkish state organized a perfidious assault in Shengal on Zeki Şengali, one of the revolutionary leaders of the Yazidi people. On the 15th of August, Zeki Şengali was assassinated by the warplanes of the colonial Turkish state as a result of a collaboration of US, KDP (Kurdistan Democratic Party) and Iraqi State. Comrade Zeki Şengali (Ismail Ozden), a member of the Yazidi Coordination and of KCK (Kurdistan Communities Union) Executive Council, was a 40-year-old cadre of revolution, who devoted his life to the fight for freedom. Within the struggle for the account of the massacres against Yazidi people and for the liberation of Shengal, the MLKP fighters in the area learned many things from this modest revolutionary leader.

The Mam Zeki of the Yazidi people is assassinated on the way back to the anniversary of the massacre carried out by the Turkish state backed ISIS gangs on 2014 in the village of Shengal-Koço. The approval of the Iraqi State and its prime minister Haydar Ibadi to this massacre through opening the airspace to Turkey is declared by Tayyip Erdoğan's spokesperson Ibrahim Kalın. This is an international conspiracy attack against Yazidi people and their revolutionary leaders. It is the continuation of the 73rd genocide against the Yazidi people. Undoubtedly, the chief criminal of this massacre is the Turkish state and its current public-enemy representative Tayyip Erdoğan. And the account will be taken.

The regional colonial states and reactionary governments do not approve Yazidi and Kurdish people to be organized, to grow their will and to govern themselves with their own power. The reactionary regional states want Yazidi Kurds and other oppressed peoples to surrender them in a weak-willed, cowed and passive nature as a henchman character. For this, they carry out such destruction attacks in Shengal, Northern Kurdistan and Rojava against our peoples' organized and conscious will.

Together with their comrades, the murder of Atakan Mahir in Dersim and Mam Zeki Şengal is the result of this policy. The fascist state aims to leave our peoples weak-willed and unorganized by killing their vanguard cadres. With these attacks, our people are wanted to be kept in fear and surrendered.

The colonial Turkish state floundering in crisis is looking for solutions in such attacks aiming our peoples' organized forces in order to distract the attention of the laborers growing their anger as well as to threaten the forces which would play a vanguard role in a possible uprising. It aims to liquidate the organized forces. Contrary to their expectations, these attacks will grow the anger, determination and the organizational being of our peoples. The colonial and reactionary states of the region will not be able to reach their aims; they will fail to capture the revolutionary will of the Yazidi Kurdish people. Just as the growth of Yazidi's establishments in Shengal which have all been gained by the bloods of hundreds of martyrs, they will fail to hinder Êzîdxan to self-govern itself with a democratic and autonomous identity. The actions of Mam Zeki and all the Shengal martyrs is the proof this fact and will remain as a guiding light.

Despite all these attacks, the united struggle of the Kurdish, Arab and Turkish peoples will become a common will. In order not to be subjected to new genocides, our Yazidi people will grow their organized being and refuse the submissive identity that is imposed by the Iraqi state or the KDP's reactionarism. The revolutionary will of our people will build their self-governance by breaking down these colonialist attacks and turn the fears of the reactionary regional states into a nightmare.

All the oppressed peoples, particularly the Yazidis and the Alevis, will march decisively on the revolutionary path that Zeki Sengali, Atakan Mahir and the martyrs of freedom have opened. This is a debt of honor for our peoples.

With the occasion of Zeki Şengali's martyrdom, we condole particularly with our Yazidi people and with KCK administration, the families of martyrs and comrades of struggle and re-declare our faith in the absolute victory of our freedom and honor struggle with the guidance of our martyrs' honorable struggle.
