The 24th anniversary of the foundation of our party MLKP, which announced its foundation on September 10, 1994, was celebrated in different parts of Rojava with the participation of hundreds.

The celebration held in MLKP's Şehid Serkan Battalion hosted hundreds of people from different parts of Cizire canton including revolutionary parties and forces such as YPG, YPJ, DKP / BÖG, DKP Union, MKP , TKP / ML-TIKKO, TKEP / L and MLSPB as well as various civil institutions of Rojava revolution such as SYPG, Martyrs Institution, Syriac Assembly, Human Rights Institution. {divide}

The battalion welcomed guests with banners like "In Our 25th year, We Raise the Flag of Freedom and Socialism in the Middle East" and "We Will Defend Our Revolution", as well as various photos of martyrs immortalized in the struggle for the Rojava revolution.

 The program started with a minute of silence for the martyrs of revolution and followed by poems that are written for MLKP. After these, various representatives from different organizations took the floor with their speeches.

On behalf of MLKP/KKÖ (Communist Women's Organization), Viyan Isyan emphasized MLKP's actual existences in every fields of theRojava revolution, ranging from Shengal to Afrin and stated that "Following the idea of the regional revolutions that we defend, our party runs wherever there is a revolutionary development." Her speech is as follows:

"Our party is the party of women. It takes the organization of women as a basis. In Rojava and Syria, women are holding a great role. The capitalist states have transformed the Middle East into a bloodbath. Women are the will themselves that would change this situation. Just as women need the revolution, the revolution also needs women. We call all free women to grow this struggle. (...) The enemy is trying to strangle our revolution. Against this, we must increase and develop our peoples' organization. The time is the time of popular uprisings. The will of women had played important role in Rojava revolution. We must grow and spread this will. The revolutionary women of the world are following us and they take a great enthusiasm and inspiration from us. As the vanguards of the revolution, we, the women must go even further. In this context, our source for inspiration is our martyrs that we are all connected with. Especially the women martyrs are enlightening our way. We will not let their dreams unfulfilled but raise the flag of the revolution higher in Rojava and Northern Syria. We congratulate our 25th year by devoting it to all our peoples, our women."

Speaking on behalf of YPG / YPJ, Hamza Serekaniye said, "From the beginning of the Rojava revolution, our comrades from MLKP have taken their place in the revolution. Here we fought shoulder to shoulder. I congratulate the 25th of MLKP and greet the leader of Kurdish people, Abdullah Öcalan, who made the socialist and other struggling forces meet here in Rojava revolution. MLKP has maintained its struggle in every parts of the revolution with tens of martyrs and many others wounded. MLKP has always stood by our shoulder in order to grow the revolution from the trenches to many other fields. We are all proud of struggling together with them. Lastly I would like to congratulate the 25th year of MLKP ith the words of the leader APO: "Insistence on socialism is insistence on becoming a human."

Mustafa Suphi who spoke on behalf of DKP / BÖG stated: "I salute your struggle with respect that you have been giving for the liberation of the proletariat and the oppressed peoples, from Hasan Ocak to Hüseyin Demircioğlu, and Alişer Deniz to İrfan Gerçek. We will insist on our comradeship in arms which started in Kobane and got strengthened in Afrin resistance. On behalf of comrades Mehmet Ali, Atakan Mahir and İrfan Gerçek, we give a promise to all our immortals: "We will grow our insistence on following our united revolution struggle. "

After the speeches, the program continued with the concert of the bands Koma Şehid Hogir and Komaz Zilan. The participants accompanied the concert with their dances and greeted the 25th year of MLKP with slogans in Arabic, Kurdish and Turkish.

The celebration in Kobanê was held as a popular event in the Martyrs of Suruç Park, gathering hundreds of peoples from Kobanê, as well as the Martyrs' association, TEV- DEM, PDKS, the Euphrates Region Human Rights Institution, the Left Party, TEV-ÇAND and YPG, YPJ fighters and veterans.

The program started with a minute of silence under the pictures of the martyrs and the banner of "Salute to MLKP in its 25th Year!". On behalf of MLKP/Rojava Organization, Arjin Rojava took the floor for the opening speech and stated as follows:

"MLKP is also a party of Kurdistan. It is organizing clandestinely in the Northern Kurdistan against fascism and the dictatorship. It sürdürmek its revolutionary works in the cities and mountains of Kurdistan. As MLKP, we defend the unity of the 4 parts of Kurdistan and support the the National Democratic Congress for this sake. We do not recognize the offical borders of the regional states.
MLKP defends the idea of "regional revolutions" and considers the structures like federations and confederations as one of the ways for the solution. However, we know that the emancipation of the oppressed peoples is in socialism! MLKP is struggling and fighting for this sake. With the internationalist spirit all over the world, MLKP is growing its struggle in different countries for communism. It defends the idea that classes and borders must be destroyed all over the world. It says that existing borders are not ours but of colonialists and fascists, so, we must fight in order to abolish these borders. (...) This 24 year of our party passed with struggle and resistance. We have no doubt that the 25th year will continue as so. No matter what happens, MLKP will keep on walking on the path of the martyrs, and uprise their weapons and flags. We will continue to defend and grow the revolution of Rojava and Northern Syria. For this sake, just as our immortal martyrs, we will fight until the last bullet of our weapon, the last beat of our heart."

After the speeches and messages from different associations such as Democratic Autonomous Administration of the Euphrates Region, TEV-DEM, PDKS and the Martyrs' Association, the program continued with the cinevision show about MLKP's 24 year of struggle. The night ended with the music performed by the bands of YPG and Koma Zilan accompanying the folk dances of the participants.
