The 24th anniversary of the foundation of our party MLKP, was celebrated in the free areas of the guerrillas with an atmosphere of strong determination and loyalty to the martyrs. MLKP guerillas gave promise to uprise the flag of struggle that they took over for the 25th year. On the ceremony, international fighters did also participated the ceremony; celebrated the anniversary and wished success to MLKP. {divide}

The ceremony started with the minute of silence for the martyrs of revolution and followed by singing the anthem "The Internationale".

Speaking on behalf of the Hüseyin Demircioğlu Academy Commandership and the Communist Women's Organization, Roza Sarin stated as follows:

"We congratulate the 10th of September, of all the comrades in their revolutionary duties; of the workers, laborers, youth, peoples, women, and oppressed sexual orientations that are subjected to exploitation, injustice and tyranny under the fascist besiege. We greet our party's and the oppressed peoples' history which is filled with struggle. While getting on the stage of history with its "Unity Revolution", our party relied itself on the struggle heritage of the working class and all oppressed peoples. It leant its back on the revolutions, which are the locomotives of the history, and on the uprisings which are the screams of anger of the oppressed. It became the symbol of swimming against the current, of carrying fight under fire. And for 24 years, our party has carried on its growing struggle in every field ranging from the Gazi uprising to the struggle against enforced disappearances and rape under custody; to the protests and actions of NATO and IMF, the death fast and prison resistances, Gezi Uprising, the victory of the general elections of 7th July, the street resistances in all cities, the trenches of Rojava and the mountains of Kurdistan."

After Roza Sarin, Ferzad Can from the commandership of Hüseyin Demircioğlu Academy gave a speech underlying the richness of MLKP's 24 year history in terms of experience:

Within our party's ferment, there exist the unity, revolutionary will, comradeship revolutionarism, the consciousness of sacrifice, anger to the class enemy, and trust to the oppressed peoples and working class. Every militant of our party must well read and internalize this history and be the carrier of it.
MLKP means a new manner. It is the will of fight against the patriarchal capitalism. It is the women revolution; the call to account, responsibility of paying the price the strategy that the Marxist-Leninist theory becomes concrete, the revolution of unity. It is the initiative and the creativity in the means and forms of struggle. It is the actuality of revolution, the historical march towards socialism and communism. It is the internationalism. (...) The experience and that we get from the history of revolutions and the path that our martyrs opened are the greatest weapon in our hands. In order to grow the fight for revolution, we must armed up with this weapon together with an unshakable will in. Our party has never hesitated to pay the price, neither will it in the future.

As the MLKP and MLKP/KKÖ fighters, we celebrate the 10th September of all our comrades working in different parts of the struggle. While preparing ourselves for the new year of struggle, we are actualizing our party's call for moving one step forward in the trenches of war. In order to grow the sruggle and fight, in order to fill the place of our martyr comrades and to carry our party's flag to the new fronts, we repeat this "forward call". Glory to MLKP in its 25th year!

After the speeches, the MLKP guerillas expressed their ideas and feelings about the anniversary saying that they will never step back on the path towards the freedom of peoples of Turkey and Kurdistan. The celebration continued with cinevision and theater show as well as reading poems and singing songs of victory.
