The Joint Command of Women's United Revolution Movement (KBDH) announced in a written statement on 28 September a successful action in the town of Hakkari Çukurca. The statement contains the following information:

"At 7.00 o'clock on September 28, the guerrillas of the KBDH carried out an action against the occupying Turkish army located on the hill of Şehit Zeki in the Çukurca district of Hakkari. Five enemies were killed in this action where a shelter on the hill was hit accurately. After the action, the Turkish army bombed the region with howitzers and mortars randomly. ''
