"The month of the Martyrs" has been commemorated with the events held in various cities of Europe, under the slogan "Following our Immortals, We'll defeat Fascism and Colonialism". Along with the speeches given on behalf of MLKP, MLKP/KKÖ (Communist Women's Organisation) as well as of families of the martyrs and other parties and organizations, cine-vision show about MLKP's 24 year of struggle including the videos of the MLKP martrys, and the concerts of Grup Vardiya, Ali Asker, Hakan Vreskala, Çar Newa and Ozan Emekçi were also organized in each events. Hundreds of people joining the events commemorated the martyrs with stand in silence, slogans and promises for being loyal to their struggle. Here are some highlights from the speeches held in the events: {divide}

- On the event held in Paris, the MLKP representative stated: "The political Islamist fascist regime is protecting those who harass and rape women and children. But we, as MLKP, will keep our fight until the end for the victory of the united revolution of Turkey and Kurdistan; for a world without borders, classes, exploitation and gender discrimination."

Elise Hoffman, the mother of the MLKP fighter İvana Hoffman who fell martyr in Rojava fighting against ISIS gangs, also made a speech in the event. Describing Ivana as a cheerful and endearious woman, she said "Ivana did everything right and I will continue to defend her memory, defend what she has done."

- In Hamburg, the MLKP/KKÖ representative stated as follows: "Without any hestitation, MLKP has been fighting for the democratic rights and the emancipation of the workers, women, youth, poors and all the oppressed nations, religions, genders, since from its foundation. Our party is mobilizing all its opportunities in order to put itself on the forefront and it will never give up from this. We're passing through a period which does not accept any hesitation, a period of courage. It is time to give a shoulder to those who come to the fore with a vanguard spirit and practice, it is time to be equipped with the necessary sacrifices for the victory of revolution."

The families of the martyrs did also take the floor with the cheers of the participants. On their speech, the families stated that they will work heartily in order to fulfill the promise given to the martyrs, the promise of revolution. The participants responded the families with their slogans "Şehid namirin" (The martyrs don't die" and "The martyrs are living, MLKP is fighting"

- On the night organized in Edinburgh, the MLKP representative emphasized that a party which gives sacrifices in the struggle against the fascist colonialist dictatorship, is also a party that render the enemy give great sacrifices as well.

The MLKP/KKÖ representative said: "It is our promise to our martyrs: We will go to the squares, to the mountains, to the war trenches with more women; we will sing the freedom songs much loud and uprise the flag of socialism everywhere!"

In the speech given on behalf of ÖTSP (The Platform of the Voice of the Immortals and Prisoners), the representative pointed out that the struggle and resistance in the prisons of Turkey will grow and spread in the forthcoming period and call the immigrants in Europe to be in solidarity with them. The crowd welcomed the speech with their slogan "Revolutionary prisoners are our honor!"

- On the event held in Basel, Switzerland, the families of the martyrs stated that "In Turkey and Kurdistan, we are holding our head high at the struggle of revolution and freedom. Because we are the daughters and sons of those mothers who say "we wish we were instead of them who fell martyr by the exploding bombs."

The ex HDP deputy Nursel Doğan has also taken the floor on the event, saying that "The success of Rojava revolution is the success of all peoples in Kurdistan, Turkey and Middle East. Fascism will fall, we will win!"
