In the context of "November Martyrs", the martyrs of revolution and socialism are commemorated with a military event organized in the Şehit Alişer Deniz Brigade, in North Syria.

Along with the MLKP fighters of the Şehit Alişer Deniz Brigade, hundreds of people participated to the commemoration including representatives of the People's Assembly, Assyrian People's Assembly, The Institution of the Solidarity and the Unity of the Peoples (SYPG), directors of the municipal administration, families and relatives of martyrs, as well as fighters of YPG/YPJ, International Freedom Batallion (IFB), TKP/ML, RUIS, DKP/Birlik, MKP , DKP/BÖG, Kurdistan Left Party, TKEP/L , THKPC/MLSPB.

The commemoration event started with the military ceremony and continued with speeches made by the representatives from different organization and institutions. Here are some outlines from the speeches:

On behalf of MLKP/KKÖ, Viyan Isyan took the floor and stated as follows:

"This revolution has been created by the blood of our martyrs. Our martyrs, who fell fighting against ISIS and its supportive gangs, continue showing us the path to follow. As the communist women, we once again give promise in this month of the martyrs that we'll grow our struggle much stronger. We are growing our line of women's liberation struggle with the heritage of our martyrs. Protecting the memory of the martyrs means to protect our land, our freedom and honor. While remembering them today, we promise to be loyal to their struggle and realize their dreams."

 Starting his words by commemorating all the martyrs, the MLKP representative Baran Serhad said:

"The caravan of the MLKP martyrs that started with comrade Erdal Balcı has continued with other precious comrades went to immortality. Baran Dersim and Sarin Awaz were the last comrades joined this caravan. In the mountains of Dersim, in the trenches of Zap, they have both defeated the death. As our loadstars, they grew our sources of hope and resistance. On the occasion of the November, the month of the martyrs, I commemorate all our immortal martyrs with respect and loyalty and once again repeat our promise to realize their ideals.

The fascist coalition of AKP - MHP is attacking our gains in Turkey and North Kurdistan. By means of the state terror, they are trying to suppress revolutionary and democratic forces. However, against all their aggression, they fail to put out the struggle fire of women, of youth and laborers. They only rely on high military technology but remain unable to stop the revolutionary blows of the Kurdish guerrilla and their comrades who are fighting shoulder to shoulder with them. Again, they fail to eliminate the political military actions in the metropolises of Turkey, which actually has not even played its role sufficiently yet. That is, against all the oppression, the fires of revolution and socialism keep on burning! The freedom lights all around Turkey and Kurdistan continue to scare the fascist darkness. Today is the day to grow the fight and the revolutionary action without giving an inch against fascism.Today is the day to grow the united revolutionary will of the peoples and transform it into a real power."

Referring Ho Chi Minh's words "Calamity has tempered and hardened me, and turned my mind to steel", Baran Serhad continued: "We are passing through a period, in which the imperialist capitalism, reactionary fascist systems, the barbarity and savagery imposed upon the oppressed humanity should lead us, the revolutionaries to get tempered and hardened, to turn our minds to steel. Strong determination to struggle towards a goal, organizational seriousness, action that would gain the confidence and trust of our peoples and the tenacity to our revolutionary duties... These are the major requirements of this period. Revolutionaries who turn their mind to a steel are those who devote themselves to the revolutionary cause. These martyrs that we commemorate today are those who showed us how to be the human of cause. Hundreds of MLKP martyrs, those women, youth and laborers set the most beautiful examples of this with their lives. In this "month of the martyrs" we give our word to keep our determination to walk on the path they showed us and with a life worthy of them, we will make their memories and dreams come true. For the victory of revolution, we will follow their path by stepping on their footsteps."

On behalf of the MLKP/Rojava forces, Xalid Pore said as follows:

" As MLKP Rojava forces, we bow respectfully to the martyrs of freedom. MLKP is the party of the oppressed peoples, of the workers. Today the oppressed laborers all around the world are rising against the tyranny. The imperialist capitalist system continues to be the biggest trouble for the oppressed peoples in the 21st century. However, the oppressed laborers are not desperate against this. Those oppressed laborers have their party and this party is on the martyrs' track. Today, while we are remembering them, we once more promise that we will defend the revolution, which they died for, to the end! The occupying Turkish state is scaring from peoples' united struggle, from the new life model that peoples of Rojava are spreading over the Middle East. Against all threads and attacks of the Turkish state, we, as the MLKP Rojava forces, will keep our struggle shoulder to shoulder with our peoples."
