Bayram Namaz (Baran Serhat), who immortalized in the city of Serêkaniyê of Rojava in a bomb attack by the Turkish state and its collaborators, was commemorated with various activities in Rojava and Bakur Kurdistan, as well as in Turkey and Europe.

At the commemoration in Serêkaniyê, Congress Star, Martyrs' Families Institution, Peoples' Will Party, Xalid Ibrahim from Wejdi Sadun Movement, YPG-YPJ commanders, DKP/BÖG, DKP/Birlik, TKP/ML-TİKKO, TKEP/L , MKP , intellectuals and writers were present.

Started with a moment of silence, speeches were given on Bayram Namaz's inclusiveness and the importance he gave to the united struggle in the commemoration. In the speeches, it was emphasized that Bayram Namaz, who was integrated with the Rojava revolution, was acting in accordance with the requirements of the Rojava revolution to carry the revolution forward by constantly debating for the problems of the revolution. It was stated that Bayram Namaz's struggle will be crowned by further enlargement of the Rojava revolution.

The Syrian communists in Rojava stated that the struggle of Bayram Namaz was an example for them and they would follow his path.

Also, condolences were accepted in Dirbesiye and Qamishlo cities by the Peoples' Unity and Solidarity Institution.

In Germany, the Communist Youth Organization (KGÖ) made graffiti writing "Bayram Namaz is immortal", "Bayram Namaz is living, MLKP is fighting" in Mannheim.

In the city of Cologne, members of the Communist Construction (KA) from Germany also made graffiti for Bayram Namaz. KA said in their statement, "Comrade Baran Serhat had great efforts in the establishment of International Freedom Battalion and of the HBDH and became a symbol of proletarian internationalism. When the attacks of the state increase, the revolutionaries should stand closer," they further added.

In the speech made in the city of Cologne in the name of the MLKP, the leading communist personality of Bayram Namaz was emphasized. It was stated that one of the founders of the revolutionary vanguard, one of the constructors of the socialist patriotism line, the united revolutionary front, internationalist troops, Bayram Namaz was a great loss. A call was made to embrace the struggle harder after the losses.

After the speech, the Venseremos song, which Bayram Namaz likes, was sung by the participants.

In the speech on behalf of the Communist Youth Organization (KGÖ), it was said that "Just like the liquidation attempt imposed by the massacre of Suruç was defeated, this attempt aimed at the murder of comrade Baran will also be defeated, young communists will raise the flag that Baran comrade carried to the notches of victory of the revolution by embracing his party, the struggle and the revolution even more."

At the commemoration in Cologne, the Committees of Martyr Families (KOMAW), FED-MED and the Communist Construction from Germany were also attended. KA representative emphasized the unification strength of Baran Serhat's struggle for revolution. The speech was applauded by the participants with the slogan "hoch die internationale solidarität".

There were also commemorations in several cities in France, Netherlands and Switzerland. In Turkey, Dersim and Van were the places where masses gathered for his memeory.
