MLKP Hüseyin Demircioğlu Academy made a written statement about Bayram Namaz, who martyred in Rojava. The statement is as follows:

Comrade Bayram Namaz (Baran Serhat) was assassinated in Serekaniye, the city of Rojava, with a vile attack of the colonialist fascist dictatorship. This attack was specifically planned and implemented by the Palace administration of Erdogan and Turkish Intelligence Service ( MIT ) in a similar way of Israeli state. It also gave a message as it was organized on the same day that the defeat of ISIS was announced.

Comrade Baran Serhat is an invincible revolutionary communist personality and identity who has devoted almost all his life to revolution and socialism. With his firm stance and will, he was an prototype in every field he has been. Throughout his imprisonments, he didn't reveal any word to the torturers but resisted to the death and raised the resistance in the dungeons. He took part in almost every fields of the party works and played special roles in the critical processes. As one of the founder members and leaders of our party, he made valuable contributions to the party's developments. The Kurdistan work of the party achieved a new level with him. He gave all his effort for the development of Rojava revolution, for the protection of its achievements. He made great contributions to the foundation and development of HBDH.

Baran Serhat was full of life and in good heart with his revolutionary romanticism. He was utmost modest, but equally assertive as well. He managed to keep the level of revolutionariness high, both in the fight and in life. He was a man of duty and a revolutionary of every period, a talented and versatile leader and a creative commander with a high level of solution strength on political-military problems. He was not only a talented propagandist but also a strong organizer and practioner. He played special roles with his great efforts in the preparation and positioning of numerous cadres, fighters and the party organizations. He was a strong bearer of hope. As a sophisticated cadre and a leadership prototype, comrade Baran will continue to guide the revolutionary and communist forces, as well as our peoples.

With his position in the historical continuity of the party, with his labors and values, comrade Baran Serhat, the member of our party's Central Committee and representative of Rojava, will never be forgotten. He will be marked in the history as a great morale force of the revolution of Turkey, Kurdistan and Middle East. We know that it is not easy to fill his space. In order to fill this gap, we will be a respond to the ongoing process by becoming the active subjects more than ever. We will keep the revolution and socialism flag, which we took over from him, high and plant it to the bastion of triumph. Now it is time to become Baran and fulfill what he left us by rooting in the soil of revolution. With his revolutionary reason and will, his principled stance and consistency, his prole and modesty, his great love to the peoples and deep comradeship, comrade Baran will continue to lead our path and be our source of power.

Comrade Baran, rest in peace! Your revolution, socialism and communism ideals, for which you devoted your life, will sooner or later be the triumphant. We will toss the fascist dictatorship in the history dump, ask the account for this vile attack planned and executed by MIT and the palace administration of Erdogan and gift the revolution to you and all the martyrs. This is our promise. We will win!
