On March 23, MLKP Central Committee member and representative of Rojava, Bayram Namaz (Baran Serhat), was immortalized in the city of Serêkaniyê, Rojava, through an assassination attack of the fascist Turkish state organized by MIT . Comrade Baran Serhat was commemorated during several ceremonies in Turkey, Kurdistan and Europe.

GERMANY

Ulm

The commemoration held in Ulm on 30 March began with the words of a comrade, that we all promise to become a Baran.
In the speech given on behalf of MLKP, it was talked about the 30 years of revolutionary life of comrade Bayram Namaz, the united revolution, frontbuilding and socialist patriotism. The contribution of MLKP commander Baran Serhat for the Rojava revolution, as well as his struggle for the internationalization of the revolution and its development towards a socialist line were emphasized during this ceremony.

In the speeches of MKP , TKP / ML, Partizan and SYKP supporters who participated in the commemoration, the importance of defending revolutionary and patriotic cadres was emphasized.

Kiel / Hamburg

In the commemoration ceremony, which was held in Kiel on March 31, began with a moment of silence for all the revolutionaries who were immortalized by the act of sacrifice during the hunger strike process and also for the murder of Mahir Çayan and his comrades on 31 March 1972 in Kızıldere.

In the speech on behalf of Democratic Kurdish Community Center ( DTK M), Mahir Çayan and those who have ended their lifes with the demand for the removal of the isolation on Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan of were commemorated.

Saarbrucken

The memorial in Saarbrücken was held at the Democratic Kurdish Community Center (DKTM). After the revelation and a Video presentation about the life of Bayram Namaz, speeches were made on behalf of the MLKP, DKTM, Martyrs Families Commission.

The MLKP representative stated that the treacherous assassination of Baran Serhat was the day when the victory of the Rojava revolution against the ISIS gangs was declared, emphasizing that the main aim of the attack was to damage the unity and common resistance among the peoples.

Speaking on behalf of DKTM Saarbrücken, Dexil İbrahim emphasized the hunger strike resistance that spread in the dungeons and four parts of Kurdistan and all over the world.

Cologne

The ceremony, which was held by the MLKP and the Kurdish Freedom Movement on 1 April in Cologne, commemorated Bayram Namaz and the prisoners who ended their life by demanding the termination of isolation imposed on Kurdish right leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The ceremony, which started with a one minute silence for all the martyrs of Baran Serhat, continued with a Video performance.

Speaking on behalf of MLKP a comrade stated: "We have made big sacrifices for the growth of Rojava revolution in the Middle East revolution."
