The Kurdistan Sec-tion of our Party has convened its First Kurdistan Conference on 4-11 November. The Conference, conscious of its role and historical impor-tance that it bears for our Party, has shown the will, thirst for action and determination of the delegates to strengthen our Party's work in Kurdistan and the fight for national freedom and the social liberation. The Kurdistan Conference, the first one in our Party history, was treated with a socialist-patriotic perspective.
Starting with the Northern part, the First Kurdistan Conference discussed the political situation in Kurdistan, the national and social realities; the positions of national Parties and groups of different qualities, above all the PKK , and their mission of today; the activity carried out by our Kurdistan Organisation since the 3rd Party Congress until today in Northern Kurdistan and its future tasks. Concerning all these topics, the conference made a number of evaluations and decisions.
The Conference underlined the historical and political importance of the task of uniting the Kurdish and Turkish working class within one Party and at the same time, first of all in our region, of the internationalist unity of the workers and peoples all over the world. Besides other issues, the conference draw attention to the fact that the ruling fascist and colonialist regime of the Turkish bourgeoisie, which is the source of national and social captivity, must be smashed and that the necessity exists to firmly unite the destiny of the working class and the peasantry of Kurdistan, the proletariat and the labourers of Turkey, our oppressed people of the national groups of the Assyrians, Lazs, Georgians, Cir- cassians, Abkhaz's, Arabs, Armenians, Greeks and Gypsies in order to build a Union of Workers`-Toilers` Soviet Re-publics on the basis of full equality of the peoples, voluntary unity and the right of autonomy.
The Conference underlined that it is the national and social right and duty of our people, whose national identity is denied and which is being hold under colonial bondage, to use today every means of struggle, first of all the military struggle and the violence of the masses against the militarist forces of colonialism, against its ruling bureaucracy, against its financial and political institutions in order not to leave any possibility of existence in Northern Kurdistan to them and to pull them out of this soil;
That the working class of Kurdistan, the landless and poor peasantry have to grow the struggle for their own class and social demands with the national liberation fight, and that they can't be indifferent towards the democratic and revolutionary struggle of the working class and the labourers of Turkey; that the Kurdish workers and labourers in Turkey should support with all their power the class struggle there, exactly as they do support the national liberation struggle; that the most effective medicine against the poison of chauvinism, created among the Turkish people through the denial and colonialism, is the united struggle.
The Conference announced once more that the MLCP Kurdistan Organisation will carry on the struggle which it fought until now in the line of the perspectives and aims determined by it with even a stronger will and even more determination; that it will mobilise its forces and capacities with the spirit of sacrifice and dedication in order to achieve a level in Northern Kurdistan, where a revolutionary situation exists, which fulfil the demands of the war; that it will make alliances of action and others with the forces of our country who defend the revolutionary and national, democratic demands against the fascist colonialism and the denial of identity; that it will advance showing respect and deep closeness to the values created in the national liberation war by giving great pains and hard sacrifices, through blood and lives.
The Conference announces that the fascist colonialism, whose political exploitation concretises in the occupation forces, the police stations, the tax authorities and prisons, which is robbing with its economical institutions of exploitation the resources on and under the ground of the country, must be pulled out of Northern Kurdistan together with its culture of denial and its centres of assimilations;
It calls upon the Kurdish working class, the poor peasantry, the labouring women, the youth and the people of Northern Kurdistan to raise higher the flag of national freedom and the social liberation so that the proletariat in the cities and the countryside, the landless peasantry, the labourers in the towns and villages living in poverty and misery may achieve a free, decent live; it calls to lend an ear to the MLCP and its Kurdistan-Section, the MLCP Kurdistan Organisation, to strengthen it and to firmly unite in its rows.
Down with the denial of national identity!
Down with the fascist colonialism!
BijEE Kurdistan'a Azad, BijEE SosyalEEzm (Long live a free Kurdistan, long live Socialism)!
