The sharpening inter-imperialist contradictions are causes the increase of the political reaction and aggression all over the world. The occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq by the USA and its substitute imperialist forces, the imperialist-Zionist attack on Lebanon; the bloody conflicts fabricated and provoked among the peoples in Caucasus, Balkans and Middle East; the increase of political repression and the new anti-terror laws in bourgeoisie states, including the imperialist centres; and the war waged against the working class, labourer masses, oppressed peoples and their revolutionary vanguards by imperialists' international organisations are the different parts of this offensive. However, the imperialist forces and their collaborators are also actively organising international complots and operations on the revolutionary-progressive forces those who stand against their strategic plans or have potential to obstruct them. The international attacks such as the imprisonment of PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party) leader, A. Ocalan, in 1999 through an international complot; the operation on the PCE(r) (Communist Party of Spain-Reconstructed) in 2000, the attacks on DHKP-C (Revolutionary People's Liberation Party-Front) in 2004 and MKP (Maoist Communist Party) in 2005 and lastly on our party, MLCP, in September 2006 came to the agenda as the links of the same chain. The violent attack on our party was carried out in collaboration of CIA, MOSSAD and MIT (National Intelligence Organisation of Turkey, and with the co-ordination of MIT, General Staff and the police.
The attack has also aimed at breaking our party's direction and efforts on the international level. Our party bears the idea on the necessity of advancing the international relations among the progressive, revolutionary and communist parties on the basis of concrete, practical and real relations. It has achieved important successes on the international solidarity and on the regional and international organisation of the anti-imperialist and communist movement, on this concrete ground. Our party is determined to go forward in the same line that has been wanted to be liquidated through these attacks both in Turkey and Northern Kurdistan and on the international arena.
In concrete, the attack was carried out on the MLCP, the International Communist Movement's branch in Turkey and Northern Kurdistan. But it is important to perceive it with its international characteristics by all the progressive, revolutionary and communist forces; to understand that the repulse of this attack will be a victory on behalf of the international movement and will be a defeat for the imperialist forces. At the end of the day, it is the hope and struggle of the working class, labouring masses and oppressed peoples for social liberation what they are trying to destroy, eliminate and smash. Therefore it is the task of not only the MLCP, but of all progressive, revolutionary and communist forces of the whole world to respond the bourgeoisie's international attack by increasing the international solidarity and struggle.
There have been developed very positive examples of this since September, the month when the attack was carried out. Numerous solidarity messages and actions of friendlyl organisations, the actions which are ideologically very important such as writing "Long Live MLCP" on the wall near the Turkish consulate by Partija Rada from Serbia, protest calls organised by the Argentinean democratic platforms are some of the positive examples of active, practical solidarity. All statements and publications that have been prepared in order to denounce the attacks both in single countries and on the international level are rather valuable. The flow of the interviews, articles, news and experiences on different issues sent for solidarity to be published in the publications under attack from each country are some other positive examples of the exchange of experiences and the relationships, which naturally, must always exist among the revolutionary parties and organisations.
Again, solidarity actions with our party and with the revolutionary, socialist organizations which have been the target of the attack, announcement of the attacks both in the country and on the international level, sending protest faxes to the Turkish state in a massive manner, organising visits and delegations to those organizations and sending solidarity letters to the prisoners can be the concrete examples of active solidarity. Sending international delegations to the trial of the prisoners and organising demonstrations in front of the Turkish consulates on the day of prisoners' trial can be an active instrument in terms of turning the courts into international stages where the fascist Turkish colonialism could be judged and can be a new achievement that will be included in the experiences of internationalist solidarity.
It is the expectation of our party and of the historical period that we are going through from all progressive, revolutionary and communist forces to respond in similar way the attacks not only on our party, but such attacks on all forces, for instance on the prisoners in Spain and Bask country, the Oaxaca resistance and prisoners in Mexico.
