The attack of intimidation and liquidation of the fascist dictatorship against the revolutionary and the national Kurdish movement is launched at many fronts at the same time. One part of the wave of attacks, which started with the detention and imprisonment terror in the context of the anti-terror law against our party in September, which is one eye-catching example, is the increase of the civil-fascist attacks at the universities. In addition to the daily YOK -terror, the interrogations of the students and the exclusions from university, the students are confronted with a wave of civil-fascist attacks since the beginning of the semester.
In the last weeks, the universities of Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara, Canakkale, Bolu, Antep and Mersin have been exposed to fascist attacks one after the other. The MHP -fascists threatened the democratic, revolutionary and Kurdish students at the universities and student hostels with knifes, tried to lure them into ambushes and hurt many people seriously.
These attacks took place with the direct support of the police and the gendarmerie. Meanwhile the forces of the state closed their eyes during the fascist attacks they took the antifascist students into custody and even imprisoned some of them. After a fascist attack on December 19 , in Mersin, a conflict between hundreds of antifascist students and the police arose because they protested against the attack. 65 students were detained and after three days of police custody 12 of them were imprisoned on the basis of the new anti-terror law and sent to the prison in Mersin.
But these attacks did not remain unanswered. The antifascist students did not fell back but gave an answer to the fascists by counteroffensives and thus they became a part of the line of active defence and united resistance, that was built against the wave of attacks which started in September.
In Ankara, the revolutionary students made unequivocally clear that the terror of intimidation has no effect at all: on December 8, 15 fascists were beaten up as punishment and took flight without looking back once more. Centres of the fascists were attacked and it was announced that no fascist will escape from its just punishment. Also at the Ege University, the Bolu/Uludag University, in Mersin and Antep punishment-action and marches of protests were organised against the fascists.
On December 13, for instance the KGO (Communist Youth Organisation) bombed a building of the fascist MHP in Istanbul and said in a statement concerning the action: "You should know, all the fascist attacks will be punished even harder."
FESK (Armed Forces of the Poor and Oppressed) bombed the Office of the MHP in Izmir/Karsiyaka.
The students at the universities are uniting and moving on to the counteroffensive. They fight back the total attack of the fascist dictatorship with a united resistance, in which the Kurdish and the Turkish Youth fights hand in hand against chauvinism and fascism for the brotherhood of the peoples.
