The colonialist fascist Turkish state continues its terror and mass murder not only against the communist and revolutionary movement, but against the social opposition as a whole. The Turkish state, which has assassinated in 2005 17 of the MKP (Maoist Communist Party at once), which enforces the legal fundament of its attacks against the social struggle with the new anti-terror law, which attacked communists and socialists in September 2006 under the name of "target operation against the MLCP" and raided democratic organisations, which detained approximately 200 revolutionaries and put 80 of them in prison, which murders the children of the Kurdish people with the bombs of the Contra-guerrilla and extralegal executions, which tortures the prisoners in the F-Typ jails, gives the oppositional intellectuals the third degree with the article 301 of the Turkish Penal Code.
The editor-in-chief of the newspaper Agos, the Armenian intellectual Hrant Dink has been murdered on January 19 in front of the building of the newspaper he worked for. The assassination of Hrant Dink is a new link in the chain of murders of oppositional intellections in Turkey and Northern Kurdistan, who do not accept the ruling ideology. Hrant Dink had been accused through the famous Article 301 because of its ideas and sentenced to six months of prison.
The murder of Hrant Dink is a state murder. The fact that the state detained a pawn, who carried out the crime, cannot conceal its responsibility. Just like the Turkish state does not recognize officially that during the genocide of the Armenians in 1915 1.5 million of Armenians have been killed, he also does not recognize the existence of the Kurdish people. Its history is full of murders of the Kurdish nation and the other nations and national minorities. In the last years, a racist, chauvinist lynch tradition has been developed. The lynch attacks, which were started against the Kurds and the revolutionaries, also targeted the intellectuals. They wanted to lynch intellectuals and writers, as Hrant Dink, Orhan Pamuk, revolutionaries and Kurds in front of the court house, before the police's very eyes, through fascist gangs.
The reactions at the assassination of Hrant Dink, at the bullets, which were not only shot at Hrant Dink but at all the Armenian people, turned into antifascist mass protests. Communists, revolutionaries, progressive people, democrats, all of them stood up for Hrant Dink with the slogan "We are all Armenians, Kurdish and Hrant Dink". By shouting the slogan "We are all Armenians", the hundreds of thousands, who participated in the funeral and condemned fascism and chauvinism, focussed on the fraternity of the peoples. On one hand, the representatives of the Turkish state shed crocodile tears to show themselves as innocent, but on the other hand they did not stop to show their reactions against the slogans "We are all Armenians". The writer Orhan Pamuk, the chairman of the DTP in the city of Kars, Mahmut Alinak and the spokesperson of the Solidarity Platform of the Imprisoned Journalists, Necati Abay, are intellectuals, who already have been threatened.
The MLCP is of the opinion that the fascist attacks and the wave of chauvinism can be fought back at the line of the active defence by developing further the consciousness and action of solidarity and standing up for that of the masses, which is developing since September and united even broader stratums at the standing up for Hrant Dink.
The MLCP will continue its actions in order to grow the consciousness of standing up for Hrant Dink and of the fraternity of the peoples.
The MLCP will continue to ask account of the fascist Turkish state and its secret and unmasked gangs.
