On the 12th of August, the Limter-Is Union (Union of Dockyard Workers) organised a road-blocking action in the Shipyards street after the death of two more workers as a result of the work accident. 150 workers opened a banner writing "They died not in the war but in the shipyard" and shout slogan: "We do not want to die anymore". On the 15th of August, the dockyard workers realized a march towards the Union of Dockyard Entrepreneurs with the same agenda under the leadership of Limter-Is. While the bad working conditions, including the work without union, insurance and safety, continue very intensively in Tuzla Shipyards, where 12 workers have lost their lives in the last 8 months, the workers actions against the non-payment of their wages and the work without union are also increasing. The workers who begun to take actions for their non-paid wages in recent months were faced with intense attack by the bosses and state, but the president and one of the directors of Limter-Is Union were released after being kept in prison for a month by the pressure of the actions of workers, trade unions and political organisations.
