On the 14th of August, Socialist Platform of the Oppressed ( ESP ) has protested the Israel Zionism's occupation of Lebanon and Palestine and the Turkish government collaborating with Israel-USA aggression by putting up a banner writing "Israel Ambassador must be withdrawn/ESP" on the district branch of governing party, AKP in Istanbul-Kadikoy. Three ESP activists, who sent solidarity messages to Lebanon and Palestine through shouting slogans and demanded the cancellation of all agreements with Israel, were arrested as a result of police attack. Again on 15 August, three more ESP activists also being taken into police custody after putting up a banner on the AKP building in Istanbul-Bakirkoy.

On the same day, the ESP activists in Ankara put up banners writing "We salute the Lebanon resistance/ESP" and "We salute the resistance in Palestine/ESP" in Ziya Gokalp and GMK Boulevard.
