On 22nd August, an explosion occurred at the dockyards of Dearsan, where seven workers were wounded.
The police attacked the trade-union leaders of Limter-Is , who came together in front of the Dockyard after the explosion and called upon the workers to fight against the work assassinations.
On 23rd August, Limter-Is organized a demonstration against the work assassinations. This manifestation was also attacked by the police, six unionists were detained. Among the six is also Kamber Saygili, on of the trade-union leaders who have been in prison during the resistance of the last months at Desan in Tuzla.
DISK (Confederation of Revolutionary Workers Unions) issued a declaration on 25th August condemning the ongoing repression against the trade union Limter-Is.
