DISK (Confederation of Revolutionary Workers Unions) launched a campaign under the slogan "We do not want to see the people in a coffin, DON´T SEND SOLDIERS" in order to prevent the plan to send troops to Lebanon by stating: "We are calling upon all the forces of peace and democracy to fight against the sending of troops to Lebanon". In the statement of the president of DISK, Suleyman Celebi, it was stated that the attacks of Israel were carried out within the framework of the Greater Middle East Project of the USA and that none of the peoples would accept the US-strategies, which are threatening the peoples of the Middle East.
