On 25th August, the Initiative for Brotherhood of the Peoples against Chauvinism and Lynch attempts organized a demonstration in Taksim/Istanbul with a banner writing „Fevzi Abik was killed. No to extra-legal executions, abolition of the anti-terror law", in order to protest against the assassination of Fevzi Abik, who was killed by bullets of the police when he distributed leaflets in the city of Adana.
