The SGD (Socialist Youth Association) organized its second summer camp from 20-27 August at the cost line of Balikesir. Approximately 250 young people from different parts of Turkey and Northern Kurdistan hold discussions and seminars on several topics as for example the international youth movement, youth and future as well as occupation, war and anti-imperialist struggle. Representatives of different revolutionary and democratic youth organizations from France, Italy, India and Palestine participated also in the camp and talked about the experiences of the struggle in their countries. The young people confronted the degenerated culture of capitalism with a socialist alternative with sportive activities, cinema, theatre, dance and other cultural activities.
