The forces of MLCP have put a banner in Bahcelievler/Istanbul saying "The fascist pro-Yankee General will be taken to account by the people! -MLCP" protesting against the promotion of Yasar Buyukanit, who commanded many massacres and got on the right side of the USA through his hostile attitude towards the people, by the colonialist bourgeois state ant his appointment as general chief of staff. After this action, which took place on August 30, the day of the assumption of office of the fascist general, the MLCP issued a declaration saying that this event shows that the colonialist politics of massacres will continue increasingly and made a call upon the workers and labourers to get organized and fight with the consciousness to demand account in order to fight back these politics.
