General Council of Greece Labourers' Union has shown international solidarity with 23 revolutionaries by sending protest faxes to the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the Turkish state. In the message sent by Vassilis Hatzilabrou, president of council's management committee, said that they will not allow this police violence, which targets the press workers and all progressive people in general, to became invisible both in their country and in Europe, that they have informed the Union of Journalists in Greece and the Lawyers Organisation and that there will be statements published in Greek newspapers condemning the arrests. He also demanded the immediate release of the people who are being detained.
