On 3 October, various intellectuals and artists have started a hunger strike action in order to support the lawyer, Behic Asci, who is in death fast for 182 days shoulder to shoulder with his clients against the ongoing isolation in prisons.
The intellectuals and artists have started their hunger strike action by making a press meeting in front of the house where Behic Asci is continuing the death fast. Sevim Belli, Cezmi Ersoz, Mazlum Cimen and Yusuf Cetin, the President of Sine-Sen Union, are among the people who support Behic Asci.
