On 25 October, the people of the Alibeykoy/Karadolap neighborhood in Istanbul organized a festival against the generalization of the criminal bands and degeneration which is the state's policy in the labourer's districts. 700 people participated in the festival which was organized by the Popular Iniciative of Karadolap that was formed by different democratic mass organizations, local associations and the people of the neighborhood.
In the speeches, it was emphasised that the neighborhood had a revolutionary culture in the past and after the military coup on 12 September 1980, degeneration increase in the neighborhood. Also they drew attention to the necessity of struggling against the capitalist culture. Different musicians and music bands took place in the festival, including the music band Koma Denge Hevi which is affiliated to BEKSAV .
