On the 5th of November, the Bagcilar district office of Democratic Society Party ( DTP ) raided by the police officers from Anti-terror Brach of Higher Institution of Police.
8 people are arrested following the search and ID check carried out by many policemen, including the Special Operational teams wearing masks. ESP , which made a statement in relation to the matter, condemned the raid against the DTP Bagcilar district office and arrestment of 8 people. In the ESP statement, it was said: "These repressive policies aiming to prevent the activities of DTP, must be ended, the ones who have been taken into custody must be released. The Anti-terror Law, which paves the ground for increasing of attacks on the democratic institutions and progressive parties, must be abolished. We call on all our worker and labourer people to increase the fight in order to throw into dustbin the Anti-terror Law".
