On 20 November, the lawyer, Behic Asci, who has been continuing with his death fast action demanding the end of physical isolation in the F-type prisons, made a press statement together with his lawyer. In his statement, Asci stated that his father was forced by the Istanbul police to sign a declaration accepting the forced medical treatment of him, and added that the initiative means preparation of a police operation on the house where he is continuing with his resistance in Istanbul/Armutlu. After recalling the massacre of revolutionaries through police operations on the houses where the death fast was held and the disabling of dozens of revolutionaries through forced medical treatment, Asci stressed the followings: "I, as the lawyer Behic Asci, declare while my conciseness is open that I am doing the death fast action on my free will. I have just one demand. I will only end the action after the acceptance of the demand: The physical isolation in the prisons must be abolished. Therefore, I do not want and accept any medical treatment. I will start treatment only after the concrete steps being taken concerning the abolishment of isolation. Today is the 230th day of my action. My health condition is as visible as leaving no space for any explanation. A police operation to this house would result with the death of all of us. Everybody would know and understand this. Therefore, we are warning the political power; only our death bodies will leave this house if there would be an operation. The solution is not the operation, but taking concrete steps on the abolishment of the isolation."
