Lawyers from the Chamber of Istanbul organised a march against isolation policies at prisons on 15 December in Istiklal Street. Approximately 500 lawyers who participated at the march with their robes shouted the slogans "3 doors and 3 locks should be opened/Isolation should end" and "Our right to defend cannot be hindered" in order to demand the end of the isolation policies. At the action which took place under the blockade of the police forces, the lawyers also gave support to Behic Asci, who has been continuing death fast against isolation for 260 days. In his speech in the name of all the participant lawyers, Lawyer Kolcuoglu stated that "a special model" is being implemented at the F-Type prisons for the last 6 years and this model is an obstacle for human to use his most fundamental rights. Kolcuoglu said: "We, as the Chamber of Istanbul, are ready to give all kind of support for the solution of this problem".
