After the attacks of raid and arrestment against our party MLCP and revolutionary and socialist press and associations, ESP (Socialist Platform of the Oppressed) had started a campaign under the slogan "We want freedom!" against the terror of Anti-terror Law. The Saturday meetings which are organised in many cities of Turkey and N. Kurdistan in the context of this campaign have continued on the 12th week with different actions on 30 December.
In Istanbul, the F-type isolation prisons and the demand that "3 doors and 3 locks should be opened!" was on the agenda of the action at the Galatasaray Square.
In Ankara, the Saturday meeting was dedicated to the resistances of 2006 all over the world and the struggles in Iraq, Palestine and Lebanon which frustrated USA and its collaborator Israel were emphasized. After the action, they sent New Year cards to Lawyer Behic Asci who is on death fast against the isolation in prisons and to the imprisoned activists of ESP.
In Izmir, they made an evaluation of the year 2006 and announced that they will create more posts in 2007. They also mentioned the fascist attacks in the universities and high schools.
In Adana, the civil fascist attacks in the universities were on the agenda of the meeting.
In Antep, ESP raised the slogan "3 doors and 3 locks should be opened!" and also mentioned the arrestment and imprisonment of ESP activists last week as a continuation of the September attacks.
In Malatya, the terror of soldiers and the police in Kurdistan was emphasised. The end of the repression and the cancellation of the Anti-terror Law were demanded.
