Ankara Branch of EKD (Labouring Women's Association) gathered in front of the Embassy of Iraq on 21 February to protest the decision of execution of three women in Iraq and they demanded the cancellation of the decision.
Opening a banner written "Wacen Taleb, Zainab Fadhel and Lika Omar Muhammed are not alone! Stop the executions!", the EKD activists called upon all the women and the women organisations to stand up for stopping the executions.
The action ended with the slogans "Iraqi women are not alone!" and "Long live the international solidarity of the women!".
