Egitim-Sen (Education and Science Labourers' Union) announced that it will start a series of activities and actions beginning from 30 March with the demand that "the wages for extra-hours should be paid."
In this context, street actions will be hold in different cities on 29-30 March. Signatures will be collected at the working places with this demand during the week and will be delivered to the Ministry of National Education on 3 April. Between the dates of 4-6 April, the labourers will carry cockades written "Stop with discrimination! We want equal salaries!". On 7 and 8 April, demonstrations will be organised in Ankara, Adana, Diyarbakir, Istanbul, Izmir, Trabzon and Van under the slogan "Humanly Life, Democratic Turkey".
