The 13 April Meeting also gained support and solidarity on the international level. On 11 April, AvEG-Kon (European Confederation of the Oppressed Immigrants) and We Want Freedom Campaign organised actions in front of the Turkish Embassies and at the city centres in Bern/Switzerland, Paris/France, Berlin/Germany and Brussels/Belgium and raised the demand of freedom to the 10 September Prisoners. Besides, trade unionists, journalists and representatives of different political parties from Russia, Canada, Colombia, Germany, France, England, Bulgaria, Greece and Switzerland came to Istanbul to observe the hearing on 13 April. On 12 April, the observers sold the newspaper Atilim at Istiklal Street/Taksim for solidarity together with the ESP activists. On the same day, the delegations participated at the press meeting at TMMOB (chamber of Architects and Engineers) and they explained their observations and expectations about the hearing. They emphasised the importance of international solidarity and demanded the release of the 10 September Prisoners. On 13 April, some of the delegates observed the hearing at the Heavy Penal Court of Besiktas, while some of them were present at the 13 April Meeting. After the police attack at the 13 April Meeting, German and Greek delegates who had witnessed this attack participated at the press meeting at the Istanbul Branch of the Human Rights Association in the evening and shared their experience. They said the following words: "We have also been attacked, we have seen everything"; "We will continue to tell the truth. We will come again for solidarity." The attack of the fascist dictatorship against the 13 April meeting has been protested in the same evening by AvEG-Kon through actions in front of the Turkish Embassies and at the city centres in London/England, Paris/France, Stuttgart, Dortmund, Frankfurt and Ulm in Germany and Zurich, Basel, Bern and Lozano in Switzerland. At the actions, a call for international solidarity was made. In Belgium, an action was hold simultaneously with the hearing and the freedom of the 10 September prisoners was demanded.
