On 17 March, International Solidarity Day with the Palestinian Prisoners, a street action was organised by the Solidarity Association with the Palestinian People ( FHDD ). The FHDD activists gathered in Taksim/ Istanbul opening a banner written "Down with imperialism and Zionism! Freedom to the Palestinian prisoners!" and they called for growing the solidarity with the Palestinian prisoners. They also saluted Ahmad Saadat, who is kept in Israeli jails and who refuses to recognise the courts of Zionism. The slogans "The Palestinian people are not alone!" and "Zionist Israel, hands off Palestine" were shouted at the action.
