The state terror supported by the new anti terror law against revolutionary, communist and patriotic forces continues with raids, arrests and detention of readers of the newspaper Alinteri.
On May 21, 12 readers of the newspaper Alinteri were arrested during house raids by teams of the anti terror unit under the pretext of "having called illegal slogans on Mayday". Six of the arrested revolutionaries, among them also Sami Gök, the representative of the newspaper Alinteri in Ankara, were later imprisoned.
The readers of the newspaper Alinteri, the magazine Revolutionary Proletarian Youth and many other revolutionary and democratic organizations gathered on May 22 in front of the court to show solidarity with the arrested revolutionaries.
