Our comrade-in-arms Binali Güler, among the 17 MKP (Maoist Communist Party) martyrs, which were killed on 17 June 2005 at Mercan valley, was commemorated at his grave in Buca-Izmir on June 16 by DHP (Platform of Democratic Rights), ESP and B DSP .
At the commemoration, the mass carried the pictures of the 17 martyrs and shouted the slogans "The martyrs of Mercan are immortal" and "Comrade Binali Güler is immortal". In different speeches, the comradeship-in-arms between the different organisations was emphasized. The action ended with the reading of poems and the singing of marches.
