Dogan textile workers affiliated to the factory Orma textile organized an action on June 23 when they did not receive salary for more than 1.5 months.
The workers who stopped the production under the leadership of the trade union Teksil-Sen gathered in front of their workplace and marched to the building Orma -2, at which Dogan textile is settled. There they hold a press statement. The workers shouted the slogans "We will win by continuing with our resistance" and "The union of the workers will win over the bosses". In the statement, the poor working conditions, long overtime work and flexible working hours without any rule were stressed. The immediate pay of the salaries was demanded, too. The workers also called on all other colleagues at the work place to join their struggle. This struggle of the workers made the bosses step backwards. On June 24, the outstanding salaries were paid in total to the workers.
