The ESP and Kurdish-patriotic youth organized an action under the title "Respect to the martyrs, warning to fascism" on the evening of July 15 because of the fascist attacks on July 9 at the Halkali Colony of Istanbul and the anniversary of the July 14 resistance. While the slogans "Sehit namirin" (The martyrs are immortal), "Ikitelli will become a grave for fascism" and "Kurdistan will become a grave for fascism" were shouted at the demonstration with torches, the banners and emblems which the bourgeois system's parties had hanged up at Ikitelli pedestrian crossing, were collected and burnt.
