The USA has sank into a bog in Iraq. She is having difficulty in the establishment of a protectorate colonial administration, or in making it accepted. His relations with Turkey were in crisis during the war. But now, together with other searches and politics, she wants to make Turkey, with which she was in a crisis, a partner of the occupation that is not clear how long would it continue, by demanding troops from Turkey. Therefore, she makes their crisis, the Kurdish question and the credit agreement for 8.5 billion dollar as the main subjects of the negotiation.

Through the ghosts of "Kurdish state", "terror" and the demagogy of "help to Turkmen" in Iraq, the Islamic AKP (Justice and Development Party) government, the bourgeois media, the army and secret state are trying to persuade Turkish and Kurdish peoples on sending troops. Because, our peoples have many times experienced or seen that sending troops to Korea, Cyprus, the Balkans, Somalia and Afghanistan came to meaning of protection of the interests of the imperialism and collaborating powers. However, through public surveys, mass actions and reactions during the imperialist war, they have shown that they don't want to be the USA soldiers. And by the pressure of the mass movement from the below, the TBMM (Turkish National Assembly) refused the 1 March bill which was anticipating USA to open a northern-front by using Turkish soils and Turkey's de facto participation in the war.

The colonist fascist regime is trying to find judicial and moral ways of sending troops to be able to overcome the crisis with the USA it feels sorry for, to interfere into possible developments in the Middle East, to keep opportunities to attack Southern Kurdistan (Iraqi Kurdistan) and the armed forces of KADEK in hand and to use the 8.5 billion dollar credit, on which they agreed. In coming days, it will send 15 thousand soldiers if it will not face a great resistance and opposition. And, it has already started preparations of sending troops.

Suleyman Demirel, who is the former chairman of DYP (True Path Party) and was President during the dirty and dark war against the Kurdish national movement in the years between 1993/1996, and Mehmet Agar, who is an ex-counter-guerilla chief and DYP's chairman at present, have come on to the scene again and have been invited by the USA. During a meeting with the Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan, Demirel, who is dependent on the USA like a slave, has advised about indispensability of being unison with the USA on "separatism" and for "Turkey's Unity". M. Agar has announced that they have "carried out 1000 operation" together with the USA in the years of 1993-96 and succeeded. And now, he reminds about the necessity of siding with the USA. The ex-President of USA, Clinton, met with the Turkish Prime Minister, T. Erdogan on sending troops, and talked on Erdogan as the greatest leader of the region.

In the new process, the increase of enmity on the Kurdish people is not a coincidence also. The fascist MHP (National Action Party) and "national leftist" like IP (Worker's Party), ADD (Ataturkist Thought Association) and the newspaper Cumhuriyet (Republic), retired civil and military bureaucrats have come together under the name of "Kizil Elma" (Red Apple) against the Kurdish national movement in Middle East and Turkey. DEHAP , the legal party of the Kurdish national movement, is under threat of being banned and its 2 million votes, which they received in the general election dated 3 November 2002, have been counted as invalid by a political decision of the courts. The isolation of A. Ocalan in Imrali is continuing. The artists who sang in the European Kurdish Festival in September and the general president of DEHAP, who delivered a speech there, have been sued in Turkey.

All these developments show that sending troops to Iraq will mean announcement of a new dirty war against the Kurdish nation. Due to objections of the USA, the Turkish bourgeois state was still not able to settle in Southern Kurdistan. But he wants to keep opportunities and conditions in hand to attack and interfere in S. Kurdistan and against KADEK by settling troops in Baghdad and other regions of Iraq.

The ones, who yesterday sent the children of our peoples to the dirty war on the Kurds, those who killed our children in torture and massacres, today are sending them on Iraqi people to die for the interests of the USA. But, our peoples answer to this is "No". They are shouting that they don't want to be killed for USA imperialism. And Turkish government and army know this, and their job is difficult!

In Middle East, the people of Iraq is resisting against the imperialist occupation. Their resistance is widening and deepening. The Kurdish people want to liberate themselves from the colonial yoke. The Palestine people are fighting for their freedom. The peoples of the Middle East and their revolutionary political vanguards are on the way of search for developing the solidarity and united struggle against imperialist occupation and aggression.

In Israel, pilots have refused to bomb Palestine. In the USA, the movement of soldier mothers is developing, they don't want their children to be killed.

The movement, which is in the developing trend in Turkey and Northern Kurdistan against sending troops, has got very strong grounds, potentials and conditions. However, this struggle would bring out more power and action when it unites with the struggle against neoliberal attacks and practices.

MLCP's political campaign "No to sending soldiers to Iraq" which started some time ago by the consideration of social dynamics, political developments and foresights and which continues widely and energetically, is welcomed by the masses in sympathy and interest. This political vanguard intervention both will bring out the accumulation and anger among the masses and will become large with the creation of platforms against imperialist occupation and aggression.

End the occupation in Iraq, Freedom to Palestine and Kurdistan!

Long live brotherhood of the peoples of Middle-East!
