While ESP activists in Ankara were calling for attention for the trial on October 26, four of them were imprisoned. The ESP activists had distributed the leaflets with the heading "From September to October, hope is with the party, liberation with socialism" on Yuksel Street which were about the charge of the communists that had been arrested in September last year and will be taken to court on October 26. The police attacked the ESP activists and, at the same time, realised a raid of the ESP office in Ankara. While all PCs were seized, 7 ESP and SGD activists were arrested. On October 8 the ESP activists were taken to court. Four of them were decided to be imprisoned with the claim of "membership in an illegal organisation" and "propaganda of an illegal organisation". Among those imprisoned there is also Meric Solmaz, representative of the ESP of Ankara.
