The trial on October 26 against the 23 communists who had been arrested in September last year has been protested on international level, too.
31 parties, organisations and institutions and 51 intellectuals and representatives from Argentine sent protest letters to president Gul and prime minister Erdogan on October 25 demanding the release of the 10 September prisoners.
In Europe organisations of migrants from Turkey and Kurdistan and different local organisations organised actions in front of Turkish Embassies and at central places on October 25 demanding freedom to the 10 September prisoners.
In Brussels the activists of We Want Freedom Campaign organised an action which was supported by the organisation Red Help (Secours Rouge) and the Collective of Oppressed Migrants Belgium.
The activists of We Want Freedom Campaign in the UK organised an action in London and raised the slogans ""Freedom to the 10 September prisoners" and "No to the conviction of the communists".
The members of the Turkish Migrant Workers` Cultural Association (ACTIT) in France gathered in front of the Turkish Consulate in Paris for an action and opened the banner read "Stop the state terror in Turkey". The protesters carried the posters on which it said "No to the conviction of the communists" and wore t-shirts on which it said "Freedom to the 10 September prisoners". At the action the following was said: "Fascism can not convict the communists who represent the free and dignified future of humanity."
In Germany two different actions were organised in Stuttgart and Cologne. The actions which were organised by member associations affiliated to the Federation of the Oppressed Migrants (AGIF) the protesters carried posters on which it said "Freedom to the 10 September prisoners" and "Stop the attacks in Kurdistan".
In the Netherlands the organisations VEKSAV,
ICAD , the Cultural Centre Yüz Çiçek Açsın, TIOD, Rode Morgen, the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) and PRIEM gathered in front of the Turkish Embassy in Den Haag. The activists opened the banner read in Dutch "Stop the state terror in Turkey" and handed over a letter to the Embassy in which the state terror against the communists and revolutionaries was protested.
Revolutionary and progressive organisations from many countries such as from Brazil to Venezuela, Bangladesh to Norway, Italy to Ukraine published messages to show solidarity with the 10 September prisoners and sent protest letters to the Turkish state.
