The Socialist Platform of the Oppressed ( ESP ) organised an action on November 19 in front of Istanbul office of the DTP (Democratic Society Party) to protest against the trial to ban the DTP. In a statement the ESP said that with the ban of the DTP, the aim is to take the Kurdish people`s democratic achievements and demanded the cancellation of the trial. The ESP activists stressed that for a democratical solution in the Kurdish question, the social lynching atmosphere must be overcome and that it could only ensured with the struggle for the people`sbrotherhood. After the action where the slogans "Long live the peoples` brotherhood" and "Equality, brotherhood, freedom to the Kurdish people" were shouted the ESP activists visited the DTP office to show their solidarity.
