On December 1, The Solidarity Association with the Palestinian People ( FHDD ) organised an action at Galatasaray, Istanbul, under the slogan "Stop the deceit of Annapolis, the resistance in Palestine will win" and saluted the anniversary of the Palestinian people`s 1st Intifada which had started on December 8, 1978.
In a speech it was said that the Annapolis Conference was mentioned and it was stressed that this meeting has the objective of the USA to suppress the forceful struggle led in Palestine, that the demands and resistance of hundreds of thousands Palestinian people were not approved, but the Palestinian people answered this meeting wth protests. It was said: "The Annapolis meeting showed the Palestinian people again the only opportunity: 3rd Intifada!" In its speech the FHDD saluted the Palestinian resistance and said: "The stones thrown at the tanks by the Palestinian children and the stone generals with their slings are a call to humanity. This struggle that the Palestinian people made history under very hard conditions and giving many sacrifices is the struggle of all of us." At the action the slogans "Murderer İsrail get out of Palestine", "Zionism will be defeated, Intifada will win", "The Palestinien people are not alone" were shouted.
