The Press Office of the Revolutionary People`s Liberation Party published a statement on Kevser Mizrak who had been killed on December 10 in Ankara due to police terror. In the statement no. 371 it said that Kevser Mizrak had been a member of DHKC and her life and fight were described. The following was said: "Kevser Mizrak once again showed the whole world that the DHKC fighters and leaders of the struggle for the people`s independence, democracy and socialism will not bow even if they are in a situation such as Mizrak. The fact that she could not made to give up is a result of the ideologic power of the revolutionary movement. It is the result of our desire for revolution and determination. We continue with this claim and our march with Kevser. Those who killed Kevser Mizrak will render an account. Comrade Kevser will live in the struggle she led for our people`s independence, democracy and socialism!"
Actions for Kevser Mizrak continue everywhere.
The Front for Rights and Freedoms (HÖC) organised an action on December 14 in front of the Galatasaray Post Office, Istanbul and the Socialist Platform of the Oppressed ( ESP ) realised an action on December 12 at Ulus Square, Antakya. On the same day some actions were organised by the Ankara branch of Human Rights Association ( IHD ) at Yuksel Street. At the actions it was emphasized bthat the incident is an extra-judicial killing and it was demanded to charge the responsible forces for this massacre as well as abolish the anti-terror law and the respective law giving the police unlimited rights.
On December 15 DHKC militants established barricades on Mithatpasa and Piyalepasa Streets in the Istanbul quarter Okmeydani and saluted the resistance of Mizrak. Militants of our party MLCP supported the action where the slogan "We will demand an account for Kevser Mizrak".
