The first action against the colonial Turkish state´s cross-border operation was realised on February 23 in Istanbul.
The action was organised by revolutionary and democratic parties and organisations, among them DTP , ESP , EMEP , SODAP and TÖP, in front of DTP Istanbul office and supported by the Platform of KESK Branches, HOC and the Human Rights Association ( IHD ). Hundreds of Turkish and Kurdish labourers protested against the colonial army and government at the action where the banner read "Stop the operations" was opened and the slogans "Murderer Erdogan", "Murderer AKP ", "The murderer state will render account" and "Edi bes e" shouted. The police formed barricades with special teams and tanks in front of the DTP office.
DTP vice-chairman of istanbul Dursun Yildiz read a statement in the names of the organisations in which he stressed that the Turkish Armed Forces have started a new massacre against the Kurdish people supported by the USA and that no solution will be reached with these operations.
Another action will be organised in Diyarbakir on February 25.
