In February, our Party's International Bureau has organised panels in three different countries with the subject of "International Mass Movement, the Opportunities and the Tasks". The panel organised on 19 February in Germany was followed by one in England on 26 February and the other one in France on 27 February.

In the leaflets calling for participation, the aim of the panels was described by our Party's International Bureau in following words: "At the beginning of the 21st Century our world is witnessing an international mass movement and the struggle of working class, peoples and the oppressed against the imperialist globalisation assault. The workers, unemployed, toilers, women, youth and retired people are reacting against the economical and social damage and destruction, and shouting their demands by actions on the streets. The developing international mass movement in the world is bringing out progressive, anti-imperialist and revolutionary opportunities, dynamics and conditions. The movement's spontaneous character together with the leadership of the reformist and pacifist forces is almost decaying these opportunities and dynamics. Our party invites all communist and revolutionary parties, organisations and individuals to participate in this meeting where we will be discussing the combination, leadership and tendency of the development of the international mass movement; the opportunities and dynamics brought out, and the revolutionary tasks the situation puts in front of us."

While two main speaker representing our Party and MLPD (Marxist-Leninist Party of Germany) spoke on the podium, the Iranian revolutionaries and representatives from KPD/ML, aik and initiative e. V. also joined the meeting and expressed their views on the subject. In the speech made on behalf of the MLPD, it was talked about the struggle of the German working class and its development since 1996. The representative stressed out that the working class is gradually awakening and gaining conscious, and he mentioned an offensive of the working class. He emphasised that the Monday actions are continuing and influencing the other countries despite to the prevention attempts of the government and the trade unions in collaboration with it, and added that MLPD is struggling to spread the worker actions to whole Europe.

The representative of RCG (Revolutionary Communist Group), who attended the panel in Britain as one of the main speakers, dealt with the question by explaining the class struggle in Britain and their position in the struggle.

At the panels, our party have emphasised that "globalisation" carries no other meaning than internationalisation of the capital. By dealing with the historical formation and development of the globalisation, it was expressed that the struggle against neo-liberal attacks and the war should be considered as a whole. The international mass movement, which developed against the attacks that we describe as imperialist globalisation, is led by the reformists and pacifists, but the movement, which came into existence through participation of millions of workers and labourers in the world, mainly caries an anti-imperialist characteristics. Therefore being only the participant is not enough and will not be enough, in order to influence and lead this movement we have to be inside the movement.

Our party, which thinks it is an inevitable thing for the revolutionary and communist forces to act in common in this struggle, have noted that the organisational unity of the communist movement on the international level is not being fulfilled, the international communist movement is in a ideological and organisational crisis, the international anti-imperialist struggle is also having a lack of organisational unity, and it is only possible to achieve result on the interference to the international mass movement by overcoming these weaknesses.

In the panels, it was also talked about the importance of founding regional co-ordinations in the areas (the Balkans, Caucasus and the Middle East) where contradictions between imperialists are most sharpened, and expressed that our Party will continue to serve the task that lies on her shoulders for the united action of all progressive, anti-imperialist, revolutionary and communist forces against the imperialism and its local collaborators in these regions.
