Support for the Tuzla strike on June 16 is coming from all groups of the social struggle. Intellectuals and artists are also raising the solidarity with the Tuzla strike.
On June 9, BEKSAV organised a press conference and announced their program of activities called "Strike at Tuzla, Art Days on the street". BEKSAV is organising street plays, cinema shows, moving photo and graffiti exhibitions as well as "horon" dances in the labourer quarters and at special places at Istanbul to support the strike.
Following the call of the theatre group Tiyatro Imge, which is working at BEKSAV, 70 actors of many groups gathered and performed for the first time on the street forming a ship with their bodies at Galatasaray Square, Istanbul. 39 theatre groups from cities such as Istanbul, Izmir, Sinop, Bartin, Ankara, Giresun and Trabzon are joining these events.
