The Socialist Platform of the Oppressed organised an action on December 12 next to the Greek Consulate in Istanbul protesting against the Greek police who had killed a 16-year-old boy and the Greek state. In the press statement made in the name of the ESP activists who opened a banner read "We salute the resistance of the Greek people" a call was made to be in solidarity with the Greek people. It was also said that after the Greek police had killed the young boy, this time they started to brutally attack the Greek people who protested against this murder, but that they didn't manage to stop the furious protests of the people and that more and more actions were organised. At the action, the slogans "Stop the police terror" and "Long live the international solidarity" were shouted out. The ESP also reminded the assassinations of the Turkish police taking their courage from the PVSK and demanded that the Greek police should immediately stop the violence against the Greek people.
