In order to protest the massacre realised by Israel in Gaza, the FHDD has started to organise sit-ins every day at 7pm in front of Galatasaray High School, Istanbul. At the action on January 8, the FHDD members carried Palestinian flags and shouted the slogans "Stop Israel-Turkey collaboration" and "Resist Gaza, we are with you". In a statement made in the name of the mass opening the banner read "The lights in Palestine will not be go off, the resistance in Palestine will win", it was said that the Palestinian people's resistance is for all the people in the world, and a call was made to back the campaign Urgent Medical Support started. {divide}
On January 8, Amed ESP hanged up a banner read "Ji Intifada Filistin Re Hezar Silav" (‘Kurdish: Thousand greetings to the Palestinian Intifada" to show their support of the resistance in Gaza.
High school students have organised actions and demonstrations in different cities to protest Zionist Israel. Students affiliated to LOB realised marches after school in Alibeykoy and Umraniye, Istanbul, and carried black ribbons to show their solidarity with Gaza.

On January 8, the SGD hanged up a banner read "Resist Palestine, we are with you" at a ferry going from Kadikoy to Eminonu, Istanbul. On the same day, different women's organisations gathered in Adana saying that women and children are paying the highest price in the massacre at Gaza. The women declared: "We will be on the streets to strengthen the organisation of women for the peoples to live in freedom and brotherhood."
