The consulate of Zionist Israel continues to be a place of action. On January 12, the Socialist Platform of the Oppressed organised an action in front of the consulate demanding the Israeli consulate to be closed.{divide}
ESP activists first met at the tube station Levent and then marched to the consulate. The ESP activists opened the banner "End the cooperation of Israel and Turkey. Cancel all agreements made with Israel" and carried Palestinian flags. During the action the mass shouted different slogans such as "The Israeli consulate must be closed" and "Murderer Israel, collaborating MGK ". "The slogan "Long live people's brotherhood" was shouted in Kurdish, Arabic and Turkish.
In the statement held in the name of the ESP it was reminded that the Israeli soldiers are trained in Konya, Turkey, and emphasized that besides the USA and Egypt the Turkish state is also among those supporting Israel. The statement demanded to break up with all relations with Israel.
The ESP activists, who held a vigil for 3 hours, later on threw shoes and eggs to the police men waiting in front of the building and the consulate.
