8 members of the ESP in Antep, who had been arrested and imprisoned on May 13, 2008 on the basis of the anti-terror law, were taken to court on February 13 for the first time. The 8th Heavy Penalty Court of Adana decided to release 4 of them and the other 4 to remain behind bars. The date for the next hearing is the 14th April 2009. During the raids on the office and the houses of the ESP members in May 2008 many books, magazines and also PCs had been confiscated for the reason of being "documents and belongings of an illegal party", however, everything had been given back after short time.
